Budget Planning and Statutory Reporting
Functions
01.
Prepare and compile budgets in line with the IDP as per the MFMA and the Municipal Systems Act
02.
Manages and directs procedures and processes associated with the preparation, consolidation, presentation, approval and reporting of the Municipality’s Capital and Operating Budgets and Financial Statements
03.
Applies financial accounting procedures to control and report on performance and activities
04.
Provide support and contribute to the formulation and implement and implementation of legislation and policies within the area of responsibility.
05.
Implement risk and change management within the area of Responsibility.
Financial Reporting
01.
Disseminates financial information in accordance with specific reporting requirement
02.
Monitor and report on all conditional grant projects
03.
Assist CFO in the preparation and compilation of the Annual Financial Statement
04.
Prepares and produces management and financial accounts and reports.
05.
Establish and maintain appropriate stakeholder relations.
